This instrument is developed to detect electrical discontinuity of resistance greater than 1000 ohms lasting for 1 microsecond or longer. Mode of action, the electrical resistance of each net is measured during each drop to ensure that the pulse remains within the spesific tolerance and also all failures must be logged.
Fine electronic of Event Detector with a high performance software provide an accurate product data analysis.
Event Detector is designed to work together with BLUELEC drop tester. See also chapter drop tester.

Short data of TB0344 Measurement card for BE16C8:
- number of channels
.
.. 16
- voltage threshold .
.
..
.. 0 ... +9.9 V, presettable in steps of 39 mV
- measuring current ..
... 0 ... 20 mA constant current, presettable in steps of 100 uA
- open circuit voltage clamp
0.7 ... 9.6 V, presettable in steps of 37.5 mV
- "resistance threshold"
.. 10 Ohm ... > 5 kOhm
- min. detectable break
... < 600 ns, when measuring current > 5 mA and cable length < 2.5 m
- measuring interval ...
... < 1 s
- settings for voltage threshold, measuring current and open circuit voltage clamp are common
for all 16 channels of a single Measurement Card
- if there are more than one Measurement Card installed in test set, each Card can be configured separately.
